Composite Anti-static/Ultraviolet Resistant Intermediate Bulk Container (EX/UV IBC) Tank

EX/UV IBC Tank

OUR STANDARD PRODUCT

Our EX/UV IBC tanks are made from virgin grade, FDA approved high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and will be certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 61 requirements for potable water applications.

The HDPE outer layer contains an anti-static (EX) inhibitor, which dissipates electrostatic electricity, adds an additional layer of protection for shipping and handling of liquids, compatible chemicals, and Packing Group II and III hazardous materials (hazmat).

The middle layer contains EX and UV plastic harvested from our manufacturing process, making it a “zero-waste process”.

The inner layer’s HDPE plastic provides overall good resistance to many common industry chemicals, acids, alkalis, as well as inert goods, product commodities, manufacturing intermediates and water, water/solution applications of acids, bases, salts, fertilizers. The inner layer contains an ultraviolet (UV) inhibitor that slows the sun’s rays of degrading the plastic.

All of our products are designed and tested according to United Nations (UN), European Union (EU), and United States (US) regulations. We work with our customers seeking Underwriter’s Laboratory (UL) certifications and specialty needs.

Why You NEED Our EX/UV Tanks

Eco

Anti-Static Inhibitors

Our anti-static (EX) inhibitors reduce the risk of accidental fires. The “minimum ignition energy (MIE)” for igniting flammable liquids and powders can be lower than that of a spark sensed by people. 100% of our IBC tanks are manufactured with an anti-static/static dissipative inhibitor in the High Density Polyethene (HDPE) plastic.

Eco

Non-Fluorinated

Our EX/UV IBC tanks and gaskets are non-fluorinated. Fluorinated plastics produce per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) which the FDA, EPA, and CDC issued warnings. According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), PFAS can harm our heart, liver, reproductive, and renal systems. There is some evidence that they can increase cholesterol levels and increase blood pressure in pregnant women, leading to birth defects and dangerous conditions such as pre-eclampsia.

Eco

Ultraviolet Inhibitors

Ultraviolet (UV) inhibitors reduce the degradation of our tanks. Plastic degrades under intense sunlight, which can lead to tainted products and ruin tote tanks. 100% of our IBC tanks are manufactured with a thin inner layer of HDPE with an UV inhibitor to reduce the sun’s ultraviolet rays from degrading our tanks when exposed to direct sunlight.

Eco

Recyclable and Reuseable

Our EX/UV IBC tanks, sets Ecoflex apart as it shows our commitment to affordability. Our tanks are environmentally smart, recyclable, and fit seamlessly into most IBC Tote cages. Ecoflex's EX/UV IBC tanks deliver a environmentally conscious choice for industries so they can perform quality work without needing to worry about ethics.
